June 23rd, an invitation

Ok, i just noticed that our secret (up until now) event is less than two weeks away, so now might be a good time to let y'all know what's going on!

In short, our not-so-secret event will be a walk-in day with cool flash from Uncle Allan and Chriss Dettmer, kind of like Halloween but without the costumes (unless you really wanna dress up, we won't stop you and we certainly don't judge!)

The theme (cause you gotta have a theme) is.... witches!
See, the 23rd of June in Denmark is Sankt Hans evening, and here in Denmark, without getting into a recent history lesson, that means lighting up a giant bonfire, that occasionally will have a model of a witch on it, and singing a bunch of midsummer songs.
And that's all very nice (and who doesn't like a bonfire?) but we've decided to celebrate witches in all their awesomeness instead of lighting them on fire!

So if you think you might like a witch, or occult, or witch related, or pagan tattoo (cause, who knows what they're gonna come up with?) by either Allan or Chriss or maybe both, please drop by the shop on the 23rd of June at 4 pm, or later, and join us for some midsummer fun!

The tattoos will be individually priced, and will not be custom or one-time-only.

If the weather is good (which of course it will be, right?) we'll have the door open until late at night, and refreshments of some kind will be served as long as we have them!
Usually there'll be a bonfire on the lake, so you'll have a chance to go down and see that too.

You know where to find us:

Conspiracy Inc.
Schleppegrellsgade 7
2200 København N
Denmark

Any questions? Leave me a comment.
If not, we'll see you on the 23rd!

Prepare to be SPOOKED!

I was just about to give myself a hard time for not having had the time to take more pictures on Saturday, but now that i'm uploading the ones i did take, i'm almost glad i didn't!
I'm not gonna get too much into details about Halloween Walk-in Day, cause if you wanted to know, well, then you could have just dropped by, couldn't you?
But i will say that we me, Allan, Chriss and our guests had a wonderful day.
The shop looked awesome, pretty much everyone who came were dressed up in great costumes, we ate a ton of snacks, the mood was nice and relaxing, and everyone who wanted to get tattooed got tattooed.*
But if you missed it, don't worry; this will definitely not be our last Halloween event.

Welcome!

This is what my hair actually looks like; i just wear a short wig to not make people all jealous and stuff

Uncle All... ehm, i mean King Diamond!

Chriss the Cow tattooing Björn (sorry, didn't get a picture of that one)

Part of our spooky pumpkin collection

Undead cheerleaders needs tattoos too

As do cockroaches and elephants (although they came a bit late, so they got theirs on Monday)

Wookie didn't think he was getting tattooed, so it's good that he brought an evil nurse for moral support

King and Cowboy (i'm kinda bummed that i didn't get a picture of the stormtroopers... yes, there were stormtroopers!)

And a second one for Martin; Helle makes sure he isn't too exhausted from that first one

Eeeevil clementines

A close-up of my last minute horns... not too bad, right?

Lucifer was dressed up too (but only for a little while and mostly so my parents, who aren't pictured cause they weren't in costume, could see him)
Wednesday Addams and her sailor (lifted from Martin's instagram)

The Creepy Conspiracy Crew (also lifted from Martin's instagram)

Halloween flowers from my parents

Update: Allan had a picture of the troopers in their size 8 years old costumes!

Whoa, that turned out to be quite the giant post after all!
See you again for more spookiness next year, i hope!

*Except yours truly, but really, who's surprised?

Halloween guests, part one

Halloween update time! (Isn't this exciting?)
I just got confirmation from Mr. Chriss Dettmer that he will indeed be joining us for Halloween-Super-Spooky-Fun-Day on the 29th of October!
Chriss will draw up some scary flash you can choose from on the day, which no doubt will be awesome, so go ahead and get excited about that.

More updates coming soon, so check back often!

Ps. I'm getting a lot of mail these days about purchasing the metal and Halloween flash (no doubt they're mostly from people who stop reading our posts about halfway through, so this might not help at all!), so just to try and clear things up:
The London Flash has not been printed and is not for sale.
Same goes for the Halloween flash, which isn't even done yet.
This post on Allan's blog was about an opportunity for those who missed out in London, and anyone else for that matter, to come to Copenhagen and get one of the pieces from the flash set tattooed.
You can still come get the London flash tattooed on Saturday, so feel free to email me about a price quote or just to check if your favorite piece is still available. Walk-ins are welcome too, although those who are already booked in will be tattooed first.
Ok, rant over!

The London post

Arrrghh, i feel so terribly behind on posts right now!
I shouldn't be, it's just that a lot of stuff is happening right now, and it's hard to keep up.
Oh my god, i sound like Nick now...
But fear not, this is what staycations are for. I will catch up with myself!

First up; London!
I am trying to divide pictures between my two blogs, so they both get a piece of the convention action.
Not that i took a lot of pictures; i was generally too busy, tired, bored or stressed to do that, but i got a few.

Allan's flash project was a huge success. Or at least to us it was, but i'm hoping the people who got tattooed liked it as well.
We've tried the walk-up/line-drawing concept before, but this time, with the flash actually painted, people really seemed to respond to it, so that was great.
And Allan got to work more and do way more tattoos than usual (his goal, not mine!), so i think this is what's gonna happen next year too. I don't have a lot of finished tattoo pictures, but Allan already posted them all on his blog, so just go check them out there.
Maybe next year he'll start painting a little sooner than a week before?
Just a thought....

Setting up on thursday... our banner came out a little (read: a lot) bigger than intended

Thanks to everyone who got tattooed, and to those who wanted to but didn't get in as well.
And thanks to our friends and clients for coming by the booth and hanging out when we didn't have time to come to them.
See you next year!

More Dettmer action

Alright, here are the pictures, as promised, of the tattoos Chriss did in the few days he was working at the shop.
Besides this one of course.

Laurits got a cup of coffee.... from hell!
Björn got himself a discreet little chestpiece
Sofie got a Dettmer-esque BirdSnakeSkullCreature
Rud got this very classy gentleman
And yours truly was lucky enough to get herself a thistle!

How about that?
Not bad for a extended weekend guest spot if you ask me.

Ps. I couldn't help but notice that we've had just a few more hits than usual these past couple of days, so instead of lurking anonymously, how about becoming a regular follower of this blog?
And maybe even dropping us a comment to say hi?
No pressure, but if you do, we promise we won't bite!

Oh dear...

Sunday was a very silly day at the shop.
Silly because we were even there on our day off, and silly because the guys decided to tattoo each other.
Not just any tattoos, super realistic portraits.
Yup, just you wait and see.

But first, here's Lucifer, probably the smartest guy at Conspiracy Inc. that day
I was a little sick, so i took a nap while Eckel tattooed Chriss
This is the result of tattoo number 1: sad, crying emo Allan!
Then Allan tattooed Eckel...
Tattoo number 2: Antler Chriss (or is that Antler Jebus? It's hard to tell...)
Double antler awesomeness!
I got tattooed by Chriss as well, not a portrait though!
Last not-so-happy customer of the day: Allan
Tattoo number 3: Eckel puking upside down crosses... obviously!

Chriss went home today and we totally miss him already.
He's an awesome guy (and a good house guest) and having him as our first guest artist at the shop since we moved was just perfect.
I'll post pictures of the tattoos he did while he was here as soon as Allan transfers them to his computer, so that's something to look forward to!

This is what happens when you let Chriss work at your station...*

*Yes, that really is Eckel!

German guest artist goodness!

Ok, so it's a bit on the short notice side, but this month (next week, actually) Chriss Dettmer will be visiting our new shop.
He'll be here from the 19th to the 23rd and while we don't know exactly what days he'll be working, you can contact us by mail now to reserve an appointment with him.
Two are gone already, so act fast!
Send us a mail (address is in the sidebar to your right) describing your ideas/placement/size/all the usual stuff, and we'll get you booked in!
Here are some examples of his stunning work, and if you want more, check out his myspace.
